I should've looked at the reviews beforehand. We came for simple crepes and they were just really really bad. They tasted old and warmed up. The framboise one had a tiny drop of some sort of marmalade from the supermarket. Just another classic tourist trap that's still there because they were lucky enough to get a good spot, but will never bother to offer any sort of good food. To avoid.

The menu outside misleadingly said all coffees were 2.5€. I got a cappuccino and they charged me 5€ (only expresso are 2.5€…)!!!! When I explained the confusion, they did nothing about it. On top of it, the cappuccino was really bad: burnt coffee with tiny bit of milk foam on top.

We came for lunch and I was quite apprehensive seeing the reviews, but we still ate here anyway as there weren't many options around. Service was wonderful, relatively efficient, everyone was kind and attentive. The food was better than expected, we took 4 menus. Saucisse aligot and paté were all great. Not sure of the bad ratings but maybe we came on a good day.

We had the experience to stumble upon this wonderful place frozen in time in this magical town. The food was beyond amazing and we don’t understand why it’s so utterly poorly reviewed considering that everything we had was absolutely flawless, my wife and I shared a really wonderful meal, the service was quick and attentive and everything surpassed our expectations in an esplendid manner.

It's an annual 20 year old pilgrimage to this medieval restored town. It's industry is unashamedly purely tourism but that does not distract from the pleasure. The restaurant is under the cover of the town square and the meals are reasonably priced and the portions generous with good service. Local produce and wines simply presented. Today was spoilt a little by kids running around the square and screaming (with pleasure) but that is a one off . Wasps were persistent too but that's the price for eating al fresco. I still thoroughly recommend eating here but start early as it's very popular. 7/10 for food and 9/10 for ambience despite the kids and wasps, the latter two not being a constant feature.

The tables look nice in the square and them menu reads ok. The initial welcome was warm but that is where it ended. The food was not good, all of it for all 6 people! The cassoulet that I ordered was the worst I have ever come across, microwaved and overcooked with rubbish ingredients. When we asked what appeared to be the waiter in charge for some water he told us that he was not serving our table and to ask our server!!||This place specialises in extracting as much money from the tourist for the lest possible effort. Avoid it, you wont do any worse elsewhere in Cordes
